Unele priveau pretinse activit\u0103\u021bi \u00een cadrul garnizoanei legionare de la Paris, altele erau acuza\u021bii de colabora\u021bionism cu ocupan\u021bii. Cea mai grav\u0103 alega\u021bie \u00eei apar\u021bine lui Pamfil \u0218eicaru, potrivit c\u0103ruia Cioran ar fi isp\u0103\u0219it dup\u0103 eliberarea Fran\u021bei o pedeaps\u0103 de \u0219ase luni de \u00eenchisoare pentru colabora\u021bionism. P\u00e2n\u0103 acum, nimeni nu a reu\u0219it s\u0103 produc\u0103 vreo dovad\u0103 \u00een sprijinul acestor afirma\u021bii.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cu privire la condamnarea lui Cioran la \u00eenchisoare, despre care vorbe\u0219te Pamfil \u0218eicaru, putem spune f\u0103r\u0103 niciun dubiu c\u0103 ea este o inven\u021bie a gazetarului. Dac\u0103 Cioran ar fi fost arestat dup\u0103 r\u0103zboi, \u00een mod cert dovezile ar fi fost g\u0103site p\u00e2n\u0103 acum, o condamnare l\u0103s\u00e2nd urme \u00een acte. \u00cens\u0103 \u00een marginea acestui subiect mai avem \u0219i m\u0103rturia lui Theodor Cazaban, care crede c\u0103 Cioran a fost doar interogat la poli\u021bie. Din nou, e vorba doar de sus\u021bineri, f\u0103r\u0103 vreo dovad\u0103. Cazaban \u00eens\u0103 mai spune un lucru care e de interes din punctul de vedere al istoriei literare: \u0219i anume c\u0103, dup\u0103 presupusa sa vizit\u0103 la poli\u021bie, Cioran \u0219i-ar fi aruncat un manuscris \u00een canal. Cum Cioran \u00eensu\u0219i aminte\u0219te acest episod, petrecut \u00een 1946, merit\u0103 s\u0103 ne oprim o clip\u0103 asupra lui.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>M\u0103rturia lui Theodor Cazaban, unul dintre personajele destul de excentrice ale exilului rom\u00e2nesc, se g\u0103se\u0219te \u00eentr-o carte-interviu realizat\u0103 de Cristian B\u0103dili\u021b\u0103, <em>Captiv \u00een lumea liber\u0103<\/em>. Iat\u0103 fragmentul cu pricina: \u201eLa eliberarea Fran\u021bei de sub ocupa\u021bia german\u0103 Cioran a fost chemat \u0219i interogat la poli\u021bie. I s-a f\u0103cut fric\u0103. Tocmai terminase o carte &nbsp;\u00abde dreapta\u00bb. \u0218i c\u00e2nd s-a \u00eentors acas\u0103 de la Poli\u021bie \u2013 aicea povestesc ni\u0219te lucruri care nu se pot dovedi, te rog s\u0103 m\u0103 crezi pe cuv\u00e2nt, le \u0219tiu de la Cioran \u2013 s-a g\u00e2ndit el c\u0103 ar fi mai bine s\u0103 nu mai publice cartea. A ie\u0219it pe strad\u0103, unde se g\u0103seau gurile de canal \u0219i a azv\u00e2rlit manuscrisul \u00eentr-una din ele.\u201d<a href=\"#_ftn1\" id=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ca de fiecare dat\u0103 c\u00e2nd e vorba de amintiri despre lucruri petrecute cu mult timp \u00een urm\u0103, nu putem fi siguri de veridicitatea informa\u021biilor care ne sunt oferite. Astfel c\u0103 nu avem certitudinea c\u0103 Cioran \u0219i-a aruncat manuscrisul \u00een canal dup\u0103 interogarea sa la poli\u021bie (dac\u0103 aceasta a avut loc). \u00cen schimb, \u0219tim momentul \u00een care a f\u0103cut-o \u2013 c\u0103ci iat\u0103 ce spune Cioran \u00eensu\u0219i, \u00eentr-o scrisoare trimis\u0103 la \u00eenceputul anului 1947 lui Petru Comarnescu: \u201eAnul trecut, afl\u00e2ndu-m\u0103 la mare, m\u0103 amuzam s\u0103 traduc Mallarm\u00e9 \u00een rom\u00e2ne\u0219te. Acest exerci\u021biu a ajuns s\u0103 m\u0103 exaspereze; mi s-a p\u0103rut prea absurd. Dac\u0103 ceea ce spune Cioran e adev\u0103rat (\u0219i nu avem motive s\u0103 nu-l credem), aruncarea manuscrisului cu pricina nu a avut nicidecum loc dup\u0103 vreun interogatoriu la poli\u021bie (suntem departe, totu\u0219i, de sf\u00e2r\u0219itul r\u0103zboiului), ci dup\u0103 celebrul episod de la Dieppe (mai precis, Offranville), din vara anului 1946, relatat de Cioran \u00een nenum\u0103rate r\u00e2nduri \u00een interviuri \u0219i \u00een <em>Caiete<\/em>. Astfel st\u00e2nd lucrurile, afirma\u021bia lui Theodor Cazaban, potrivit c\u0103reia ar fi fost vorba de o carte \u201ede dreapta\u201d (oricum \u0219ubred\u0103, \u00een contextul \u00een care Cioran renun\u021base s\u0103 se mai implice \u00een politic\u0103), cade cu totul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00cen cele din urm\u0103, iat\u0103 \u0219i o confirmare-surpriz\u0103, pe care am g\u0103sit-o de cur\u00e2nd, printre documentele publicate \u00een catalogul licita\u021biei manuscriselor lui Cioran din 2021. Transcriu dintr-unul din caietele sale inedite din 1973 \u00eensemnarea din 15 octombrie: \u201eUn manuscrit auquel j\u2019avais travaill\u00e9 plusieurs mois pendant la guerre, que j\u2019ai jet\u00e9 en 1946 aux \u00e9gouts, au coin de la rue Racine et de la rue Monsieur-le-Prince. Ce fut pour moi un \u00e9v\u00e8nement. Depuis, je suis pass\u00e9 dans une compl\u00e8te indiff\u00e9rence presque tous les jours devant cette bouche d\u2019\u00e9gout, comme si elle n\u2019avait le moindre rapport avec ce qui marqua un tournant de ma vie.\u201d<a href=\"#_ftn3\" id=\"_ftnref3\">[3]<\/a> Nu e doar o simpl\u0103 confirmare a existen\u021bei\/arunc\u0103rii manuscrisului cu pricina, eveniment puternic gravat \u00een memoria sa, din moment ce e rememorat cu lux de am\u0103nunte, la distan\u021b\u0103 de peste un sfert de veac (inclusiv locul precis \u00een care aruncase manuscrisul, aflat chiar l\u00e2ng\u0103 hotelul Majory de pe rue Monsieur-le-Prince, unde locuia \u00een vremea respectiv\u0103); dar avem \u0219i pre\u021bioasa informa\u021bie c\u0103 e vorba de un manuscris la care Cioran lucrase mai multe luni, \u00een timpul r\u0103zboiului.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00cenc\u0103 un manuscris, a\u0219adar, dintr-o perioad\u0103 \u00een care Cioran mai scrisese alte patru c\u0103r\u021bi \u00een limba rom\u00e2n\u0103, p\u0103str\u00e2ndu-le cu grij\u0103 \u00een sertar, \u00een lipsa oric\u0103rei posibilit\u0103\u021bi de publicare: <em>Despre Fran\u021ba<\/em>, <em>\u00cendreptar p\u0103tima\u0219<\/em>, <em>Razne<\/em> \u0219i cel l\u0103sat f\u0103r\u0103 titlu, care la Humanitas a ap\u0103rut sub numele <em>Carnetul unui afurisit<\/em>.&nbsp;Pentru un r\u0103stimp de 4-5 ani, e foarte mult. C\u00e2nd ar fi putut s\u0103-l scrie pe cel aruncat \u00een canalul de la intersec\u021bia str\u0103zilor Racine \u0219i Monsieur-le-Prince? \u0218i de ce l-a aruncat tocmai pe acela? De ce le-a p\u0103strat pe celelalte, cu sfin\u021benie, timp de decenii? \u00centreb\u0103ri care r\u0103m\u00e2n f\u0103r\u0103 r\u0103spuns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">*<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap\">Nici c\u0103 puteam g\u0103si un pretext mai bun ca afacerea manuscrisului aruncat \u00een canal pentru a scoate de la naftalin\u0103 (de fapt din ungherele ascunse ale internetului) o fotografie de circumstan\u021b\u0103, dac\u0103 se poate numi a\u0219a, \u00eenf\u0103\u021bi\u0219\u00e2ndu-i, nici mai mult, nici mai pu\u021bin dec\u00e2t pe Cioran, Beckett \u0219i Michaux st\u00e2nd la coad\u0103 la pisoarul din Place Saint-Sulpice. Fotografia, realizat\u0103 de un anume Maurice Bonnell (care n-avea idee cine sunt cei trei din poza sa), e destul de neclar\u0103, siluetele sunt ambigue (de\u0219i, la o adic\u0103, recognoscibile), \u00eens\u0103 putem fi siguri c\u0103 e vorba de scriitorii aminti\u021bi. Poza pare f\u0103cut\u0103 prin anii \u201960, c\u00e2nd cei trei erau invita\u021bii dineurilor lui Alain Bosquet. Fotografia a fost cump\u0103rat\u0103 de un colec\u021bionar \u00eemp\u0103timit, care i-a ar\u0103tat-o \u00eentr-o zi lui Cioran, \u00eentreb\u00e2ndu-l dac\u0103 se recunoa\u0219te.
