Indiferent de epoca istoric\u0103 pe care a parcurs-o, indiferent de soundul la mod\u0103, californienii \u0219i-au p\u0103strat eticheta de funk. Elementul-cheie poate fi revenirea produc\u0103torul Rick Rubin, cu care americanii au lucrat \u0219i la <em>Blood Sugar Sex Magik<\/em> \u0219i la <em>Californication<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">C\u00e2te ceva despre versurile RHCP<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Unlimited Love <\/em>are accente mult mai soft de rap rock, \u00eens\u0103 buc\u0103\u021bile de funk se niveleaz\u0103 mult mai fin, nu mai sunt at\u00e2t de <em>in your face<\/em> \u2013 iat\u0103 redescoperirea \u0219i nivelarea groove-ului californian. S\u00e2ngele clocotitor al trupei din 1991 las\u0103 locul malaxorului experien\u021bei, care nu elimin\u0103 deloc zona experimental\u0103.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00cen ceea ce priveste emo\u021bia \u0219i mai ales m\u0103iestria de a construi balade, ce s-a \u00eent\u00e2mplat pe <em>Californication<\/em> r\u0103m\u00e2ne acolo, fiind dificil de translatat peste 23 de ani. Bijuterii precum \u201eScar Tissue\u201d, \u201eOtherside\u201d sau \u201eCalifornication\u201d nu vor putea fi egalate niciodat\u0103. Totu\u0219i, registrul baladesc e foarte bine reprezentat \u0219i pe UL prin \u201eBlack Summer\u201d (primul extras pe single), \u201eIt\u2019s Only Natural\u201d sau prin \u00eenduio\u0219\u0103toarea \u201eVeronica\u201d; ceva mai siropos, \u00eens\u0103 c\u00e2nd auzi timbrul lui Anthony Kiedis, cuvintele se dizolv\u0103, versurile put\u00e2nd fi \u00eenlocuite \u0219i cu \u00een\u0219iruiri de 0 \u0219i 1.
