Am spune c\u0103 povestea ca atare func\u021bioneaz\u0103 mai degrab\u0103 ca un pretext \u0219i deopotriv\u0103 ca un background al sond\u0103rii \u0219i al amend\u0103rii sinelui contorsionat, suferind, \u00een\u021bepenit, nemul\u021bumit, care caut\u0103 evad\u0103ri din rutin\u0103 \u0219i \u00een care cititorul contemporan se reg\u0103se\u0219te \u00eensutit: \u00eel avem pe Cristian, protagonistul romanului, care \u00een urma unei aventuri cu o necunoscut\u0103, Ileana, \u00eentr-o p\u0103dure, dezvolt\u0103 \u0219i experimenteaz\u0103 tot mai acut mustr\u0103ri de con\u0219tiin\u021b\u0103. \u00cen \u00eencercarea sa de a-\u0219i salva c\u0103snicia tot mai blazat\u0103, \u00eent\u00e2mpl\u0103rile alunec\u0103 \u0219i chiar plonjeaz\u0103 \u00een fantastic \u0219i, astfel, Cristian devine martorul \u0219i partenerul unui proces care-l \u00eensp\u0103im\u00e2nt\u0103 de-a dreptul, \u0219i anume: transformarea so\u021biei sale, Marcela, care seam\u0103n\u0103 progresiv tot mai mult cu Ileana, so\u021bia \u00eemprumut\u00e2nd tot mai vizibil tr\u0103s\u0103turi fizionomice \u0219i comportamentale ale amantei accidentale, \u00een vreme ce Cristian devine tot mai sleit de puteri \u0219i mai confuz. Istorisirea e a\u0219ezat\u0103 pas cu pas sub umbrela misteriosului \u0219i a ambiguului, c\u0103ci prozatorul reu\u0219e\u0219te s\u0103 \u00eentre\u021bin\u0103 balansul fragil \u00eentre certitudine \u0219i incertitudine, \u00eentre probabil \u0219i improbabil, \u00eentre real \u0219i imaginar, pe tot parcursul romanului. Cititorul trebuie s\u0103 decid\u0103, \u00een esen\u021b\u0103, c\u00e2t real \u0219i c\u00e2t fantastic e dozat \u00een povestea lui Cristian, personaj-narator, care dincolo de prizonieratul s\u0103u \u00eentr-o c\u0103snicie golit\u0103 de pasiune \u2013 situa\u021bie perfect conving\u0103toare ca apar\u021bin\u00e2nd realului proxim \u0219i nu numai, va evita ori ba e\u0219ecul \u0219i \u00ee\u0219i va gestiona culpa personal\u0103 \u00een parametrii unui mental bine ancorat \u00een realitate sau, mai degrab\u0103, va alege s\u0103 evadeze \u00een fantastic. La urma urmei, farmecul c\u0103r\u021bii rezid\u0103 \u0219i \u00een aceast\u0103 invita\u021bie constant lansat\u0103 lectorului de a decela \u00eentre un mecanism mental s\u0103n\u0103tos al protagonistului de a face fa\u021b\u0103 vinei \u0219i ru\u0219inii \u0219i o tactic\u0103 de eludare a durerii printr-o construc\u021bie curativ-mental\u0103 de \u00eenc\u0103rcare a realit\u0103\u021bii cu miresmele fantasticului, p\u00e2n\u0103 la \u0219tergerea grani\u021belor dintre cele dou\u0103 spa\u021bii. Totul este plasat ingenios sub semnul ambiguit\u0103\u021bii: adulterul ca \u00eent\u00e2mplare, Ileana ca amant\u0103, Marcela \u00een poza sa metamorfozat\u0103. Dinamica rela\u021biei domestice respir\u0103 un dozaj echilibrat, evolu\u00e2nd ori involu\u00e2nd (depinde de perspectiv\u0103) \u00eentr-un ritm suav-alert, deopotriv\u0103 paradoxal \u0219i, desigur, cuceritor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dublul, ambiguul \u0219i plurivalen\u021ba sunt coordonatele intrinseci aplicabile textului at\u00e2t ca tematic\u0103, dar \u0219i ca atmosfer\u0103 \u0219i mobilitate narative. \u00cen acest dans al cuplului Cristian-Marcela, pe m\u0103sur\u0103 ce femeia se reinventeaz\u0103, aduc\u00e2nd tot mai mult a Ileana, b\u0103rbatul se resimte tot mai acut ca sleit de puteri; un tango vampiric par a performa cei doi soli\u0219ti ai acestui cuplu cvasi-arhetipal \u00een tentativa lor de a se salva \u0219i de a se scutura de automatisme p\u0103c\u0103toase ce \u00eengroap\u0103 fericirea conjugal\u0103 \u00een simple comodit\u0103\u021bi \u0219i conforturi golite de comunicare \u0219i empatie. Pr\u0103bu\u0219irea vizibil fizic\u0103 a protagonistului masculin se \u00eenregistreaz\u0103 pe m\u0103sur\u0103 ce so\u021bia lui se revitalizeaz\u0103: \u00een acest sens, Marcela este aidoma unui vampir energetic, care se hr\u0103ne\u0219te cu spaimele, fobiile \u0219i \u00een spe\u021b\u0103 culpa lui Cristian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>(\u2026) fascina\u021bia lecturii vine \u0219i din abilitatea autorului de a mixa registre, tonalit\u0103\u021bi \u0219i de a insinua adev\u0103ruri dureroase, veridice \u0219i verosimile despre miezul unui uman complex \u0219i \u00eentortocheat.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Un amalgam de legend\u0103, miraculos \u0219i recurent amprenteaz\u0103 romanul lui Allex Tru\u0219c\u0103; titlul ales, <em>I put a spell on you<\/em>, dincolo de evidentele sale asocieri melodice, pres\u0103rate de-a lungul c\u0103r\u021bii \u0219i identificabile de c\u0103tre fiecare lector, acteaz\u0103 ca un soi de supra-metafor\u0103, impregn\u00e2nd povestea dintru bun \u00eenceput cu valen\u021bele misterului, ale desprinderii de concretul imediat. <em>Mireasa de la Radovan <\/em>func\u021bioneaz\u0103 ca o legend\u0103 a legendei, pseudo-l\u0103murind povestea dind\u0103r\u0103tul pove\u0219tii o dat\u0103 cu intrarea \u00een scen\u0103 a misterioasei Ileana, anticip\u00e2nd oarecum consecin\u021bele intruziunii sale \u00een via\u021ba fad\u0103 a lui Cristian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Povestea fantasmei Ilenei \u0219i, \u00een spe\u021b\u0103, a felului \u00een care \u00eent\u00e2lnirea protagonistului cu ea va modifica radical tempoul \u00een cuplul conjugal, dincolo de acest joc al realului cu fantasticul, al probabilului cu&nbsp; improbabilul, al autenticului cu accidentalul echivoc, e pres\u0103rat\u0103 \u0219i cu mult umor, ironie \u0219i auto-ironie, \u0219tan\u021b\u00e2nd scrierea auctorial\u0103 cu atributele \u0219armantului: \u201eM-a pus dracu s-o \u00eentreb dac\u0103 n-a fost cu altcineva la film, sfat pentru b\u0103rba\u021bi atunci c\u00e2nd se enerveaz\u0103, nu spune\u021bi niciodat\u0103 ce v\u0103 vine la gur\u0103, nu te pui cu nevasta care are chef de ceart\u0103, \u0219i oricum n-o pute\u021bi convinge, ea are dreptate, asta ar trebui \u0219tiut\u0103 ca o axiom\u0103.\u201d; \u201e\u00cel ascultam pe-un drojdier cum \u00eei merge gura. Dac\u0103 latinii spuneau c\u0103 \u00een vin st\u0103 adev\u0103rul, \u00een alcoolul etilic diluat se ascunde toat\u0103 \u0219tiin\u021ba universului, omul p\u0103rea s\u0103 se priceap\u0103 la fel de bine la politic\u0103, economie, filosofie, interpretarea viselor, religie, fuziunea atomilor de prun\u0103 \u00een molecule de \u021buic\u0103, dar n-a avut noroc, c\u0103 asta e, Dumnezeu \u00eei \u00eencearc\u0103 pe cei buni\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O radiografie a cuplului modern, \u00een\u021bepenit \u00een atributele singur\u0103t\u0103\u021bii \u00een doi, ne ofer\u0103 romanul lui Allex Tru\u0219c\u0103, \u00eentr-o arhitectur\u0103 ingenioas\u0103 a realului ap\u0103s\u0103tor, pe de o parte \u0219i a fantasticului pe alocuri a la Eliade, pe de alt\u0103 parte; cartea demonteaz\u0103 totodat\u0103 prejudec\u0103\u021bi, stereotipii, conven\u021bii p\u0103guboase sinelui, inser\u00e2nd salturi nu doar \u00eentre imediat \u0219i legendar\/ fantastic, ci \u0219i \u00eentre plictis \u0219i dorin\u021b\u0103, dezinteres \u0219i pasiune, toate atribute ale umanului \u0219i ale dinamicii sale \u00een rela\u021bii de interdependen\u021b\u0103.
