Rezultatul? Adam e asaltat de reporteri, Edenul e transformat \u00eentr-un fel de parc. Mai avem resurse pentru a sesiza miracolul? Mai e loc \u00een lumea noastr\u0103 pentru sacru? Cartea lui George Cornil\u0103 provoac\u0103, printr-un amestec bine dozat de <em>fantasy<\/em> \u0219i realism, tot felul de dileme \u0219i \u00eentreb\u0103ri grave. Prozele din acest volum au tot ce le trebuie pentru a prilejui o lectur\u0103 captivant\u0103: suspans, contra-punct, pove\u0219ti de dragoste, un imaginar cuprinz\u0103tor, o deviere subtil\u0103 a intrigilor spre parabol\u0103, dar mai ales un apetit de povestitor contaminant.\u201d (Bogdan Cre\u021bu)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">\u201eProza lui George Cornil\u0103 e o infirmare eclatant\u0103 a acelui cli\u0219eu care spune c\u0103 proza rom\u00e2n\u0103 de dup\u0103 2000 e musai autobiografist\u0103 \u0219i minimalist\u0103. Dimpotriv\u0103, \u00een proza lui Cornil\u0103 nu transpare nimic f\u0103\u021bi\u0219 autobiografic; iar mizele lui \u021bin de temele maximaliste ale fic\u021biunii. Povestea de dragoste din prima proz\u0103, de pild\u0103, pune \u00een intertext nimic mai pu\u021bin dec\u00e2t Apocalipsa \u0219i <em>Divina Comedie<\/em>; iar proza care \u00eenchide volumul trimite simultan \u00eenspre Poe \u0219i Tournier. E o enorm\u0103 \u00eencredere \u00een literatur\u0103 \u00een scrisul lui George Cornil\u0103, \u00een frumuse\u021bea ei \u2013 \u0219i \u00een posibilitatea ei de a ne salva. Singurul lui p\u00e2ntece fusese pe\u015ftera. Era despuiat, doar cu c\u00e2teva frunze acoperindu-i p\u0103r\u0163ile ru\u015finoase. A\u015f fi sim\u0163it dac\u0103 ar fi murit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apoi Pascale a luat-o la \u00eentreb\u0103ri pe Eva \u015fi nu s-a ferit de la nimic, a c\u0103utat s\u0103 dovedeasc\u0103 prin afirma\u0163ii t\u0103ioase c\u0103 aceasta suferea de Complexul Electrei. \u00cen cele din urm\u0103, str\u0103buna noastr\u0103 s-a ridicat \u015fi a plecat, cu m\u00e2inile \u00eempreunate la piept, \u015fi de atunci a refuzat s\u0103 mai vorbeasc\u0103 altcuiva dec\u00e2t propriului b\u0103rbat, ba uneori nici lui nu binevoia s\u0103-i arunce o vorb\u0103.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C\u00e2t de mult \u00eemi dorisem c\u00e2ndva, \u00een primii mei ani de jurnalism, s\u0103 \u00eei iau \u015fi eu un interviu. Tot el ne spusese c\u0103 ap\u0103ruse un nou cuv\u00e2nt, pe care trebuia s\u0103-l vener\u0103m ca pe o mantra: <em>clickbait<\/em>. Online-ul era viitorul. Totul online, via\u0163a noastr\u0103 online, o a doua via\u0163\u0103 care cre\u015ftea monstruos, nemail\u0103s\u00e2nd loc pentru prima. Luasem cu mine degeaba aparatul de fotografiat.
