Karole Rocher (actri\u021b\u0103 cunoscut\u0103 pentru <em>Braquo<\/em> \u2013 2009, <em>Polisse<\/em> \u2013 2011, dar \u0219i pentru <em>Paris la blanche<\/em> \u2013 2017), o interpreteaz\u0103 pe Madame Claude, prezent\u00e2nd cu naturale\u021be setea de a poseda \u0219i de a de\u021bine controlul \u00eentr-o societate care echivaleaz\u0103 femeia cu o marf\u0103 de consum. Dintr-o narcisiac\u0103 posesiv\u0103, capabil\u0103 s\u0103-\u0219i abandoneze fiica, Madame Claude trece peste inerentul stigmat social, devenind cea mai puternic\u0103 femeie din capitala parizian\u0103, cu acces direct la re\u021beaua poli\u021biei sau la importan\u021bi demnitari.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Modalitatea \u00een care Sylvia Verheyde o prezint\u0103 pe Madame Claude este la limita \u00eentre patetismele de roman\u021b\u0103 \u0219i docu-fic\u021biune. Filmul \u00eencepe promi\u0163\u0103tor, are un ritm destul de alert p\u00e2n\u0103 \u00een clipa \u00een care, din ra\u021biuni neb\u0103nuite, se dilueaz\u0103 excesiv. A jucat \u0219i \u00een <em>It\u2019s Not a Cowboy Movie<\/em> (2012). P\u00e2n\u0103 s\u0103 se apuce de actorie, s-a specializat \u00een trombon \u0219i percu\u021bie. Roschdy Zem, \u0219armantul Jo Attia care o ap\u0103r\u0103 pe Madame Claude de delatori \u0219i escroci, a jucat \u00een <em>The Cold Light of Day<\/em> (2012), al\u0103turi de Henry Cavill \u0219i de Bruce Willis. A regizat <em>Chocolat<\/em> (2016), un film intrigant, care surprinde apoteoza \u0219i dec\u0103derea clovnului Chocolat, primul <em>performer<\/em> de culoare care a revolu\u021bionat dinamica programului de circ, cucerind Parisul Belle \u00c9poque printr-o coregrafie original\u0103. Dar cel mai provocator film \u00een care a jucat Zem este <em>Bad Faith<\/em> (2006), un film despre incompatibilit\u0103\u021bi etnice \u0219i religioase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Curios prin puterea dialogurilor \u0219i chiar prin for\u021ba expresiv\u0103 a unor scene, filmul lui Verheyde nu face mai mult dec\u00e2t o sintez\u0103 a climatului socio-politic al anilor \u201960. Oric\u00e2t de puternic\u0103 are impresia c\u0103 este, Madame Claude nu va reu\u0219i s\u0103 eludeze noile reguli ale Republicii. Principiul ini\u021bial, potrivit c\u0103ruia dac\u0103 se chivernise\u0219te bine e aranjat\u0103 pe via\u021b\u0103 este r\u0103sturnat de jocul perfid al serviciilor secrete. \u00centrebat\u0103 de un reporter la \u00eenceputul anilor \u201990 (dup\u0103 perioada exilului american, dup\u0103 anul de deten\u021bie, c\u00e2nd trecuse deja de 70 de ani) dac\u0103 are vreun regret, Madame Claude \u2013 p\u0103str\u00e2ndu-\u0219i deopotriv\u0103 misterul \u0219i for\u021ba retoric\u0103 \u2013 r\u0103spunde univoc: \u201eAucun regret, aucun remord.\u201d \u2013 \u201eNiciun regret, nicio remu\u0219care.\u201d Dincolo de complicit\u0103\u021bi afective, de secrete incomode ori de foamea de putere, Madame Claude a devenit legendar\u0103 \u0219i prin considerarea prostitu\u021biei drept o meserie ca oricare alta. \u00cen plus, momentele de fericire iluzorie sunt o garan\u021bie a existen\u021bei. Duc\u00e2nd o via\u021b\u0103 extrem de echilibrat\u0103, marcat\u0103 de disciplin\u0103, lipsa alcoolului \u0219i chiar de o invizibilitate social\u0103, Madame Claude \u0219tie s\u0103 contabilizeze fericirea altora: \u201eEu stau lini\u0219tit\u0103 aici, iar fetele mele trudesc prin Paris. Afacerea merge bine. Iau 30%. Tarifele: 500 de franci pe dou\u0103 ore. Banii curg. Dac\u0103 m\u0103 chivernisesc bine, sunt aranjat\u0103 pe via\u021b\u0103.\u201d Care este arma sa? Discre\u021bia: unii o consider\u0103 b\u0103rbat, al\u021bii nici nu cred c\u0103 exist\u0103. \u00cen plus, filozofia celei mai cunoscute femei din Fran\u021ba este simpl\u0103: \u201eAm \u00een\u021beles repede c\u0103 b\u0103rba\u021bii ne consider\u0103 ni\u0219te curve. \u0218i am decis s\u0103 devin regina curvelor.
