Este ultimul dintre manuscrisele inedite ale lui Cioran, predate dup\u0103 moartea sa Bibliotecii Literare Jacques Doucet de c\u0103tre Simone Bou\u00e9, partenera sa de-o via\u0163\u0103. Anterior au ap\u0103rut <em>Despre Fran\u0163a<\/em>, <em>\u00cendreptar P\u0103tima\u015f II<\/em> \u015fi <em>Razne<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Scrise \u00een jurul anului 1945, aceste fragmente cioraniene se \u00eenscriu \u00een linia textelor din <em>Razne<\/em>, fiind dominate de lipsa de orizont, de triste\u021be \u0219i resemnare, surprinz\u00e2nd doar prin frecven\u0163a referirilor la dragoste \u2013 \u015fi acestea plasate \u00eens\u0103 sub zodia amar\u0103 a decep\u0163iei. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cioran pare s\u0103 fi ajuns \u00eentr-o fund\u0103tur\u0103 existen\u0163ial\u0103, din care nu \u00eentrevede nicio ie\u015fire, fapt consemnat \u015fi \u00een acest fragment: \u201eAcel ce a plecat c\u00e2ndva la cucerirea lumii, nu \u015ftie c-o s\u0103 se opreasc\u0103 undeva-n&nbsp;Apus, fr\u00e2nt sub adev\u0103rurile poeziei \u015fi-ale dragostei. Din m\u00e2ndria veche \u015fi din setea de r\u0103sturn\u0103ri nu i-au r\u0103mas puteri dec\u00e2t spre-a l\u00e2ncezi-n versurile altora \u015fi-n iubita lui. Sistemul ambi\u0163iilor s-a sf\u0103r\u00e2mat; visul s-a decolorat; speran\u0163ele s-au pierdut \u00een naufragiul sarcasmului. Din erou al propriei vie\u0163i \u2013 haimana trist\u0103.
