Am devorat <em>Trilogia fiordurilor<\/em>, dup\u0103 care <em>Povestea \u0100stei<\/em> \u2013 Polirom, 2022, traducere din francez\u0103 de Magda R\u0103du\u021b\u0103. O carte care nu se poate povesti, nici ecraniza (la un nivel la fel de cov\u00e2r\u0219itor). Cum e sindromul Stendhal? B\u0103t\u0103i rapide de inim\u0103 \u00een fa\u021ba frumuse\u021bii. Inefabilului. Nu, nu am le\u0219inat, dar marcat voi r\u0103m\u00e2ne mult\u0103 vreme. \u0218tiu c\u0103 \u201edespre ceea ce nu putem vorbi, cel mai bine este s\u0103 t\u0103cem\u201d (Wittgenstein), dar n-am puterea s\u0103 m\u0103 ab\u021bin. Titluri de capitole, subcapitole, poematic \u0219i st\u00e2ncos, \u00eens\u0103 nu te pierzi, nu te deranjeaz\u0103 at\u00e2tea ac\u021biuni \u00eencepute, am\u00e2nate, multiple foldere deschise, \u00een care e\u0219ti prins, virusat, electrizat. Efervescen\u021b\u0103 misterioas\u0103 care r\u0103v\u0103\u0219e\u0219te. <em>Et pour cause!<\/em>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Autorul-personaj e con\u0219tient c\u0103 \u201euneori \u00eentreb\u0103rile sunt via\u021ba, iar r\u0103spunsul la ele e moartea\u201d. Pe fiecare pagin\u0103, natura e omniprezent\u0103. P\u0103s\u0103rile c\u0103l\u0103toare dau n\u0103val\u0103 cu c\u00e2ntecul lor \u0219i promisiunea verii pe aripi. Oare \u201ece Dumnezeu le aduce aici, \u00een nord, la frig \u0219i lumin\u0103, departe de c\u0103ldur\u0103 \u0219i t\u0103r\u00e2muri mai bl\u00e2nde\u201d? Fata Aldis face o c\u0103l\u0103torie cu logodnicul ei \u00een inima fiordului. O pan\u0103 la ma\u0219in\u0103 tulbur\u0103 acul magnetic al inimii. Se opresc la o ferm\u0103 izolat\u0103. Aldis e fascinat\u0103 de apari\u021bia t\u00e2n\u0103rului Haraldur. Devine brusc vulnerabil\u0103, dezorientat\u0103, iresponsabil\u0103. Nu mai poate respira. Dup\u0103 ce se \u00eentoarce acas\u0103, \u00ee\u0219i las\u0103 logodnicul, ora\u0219ul, confortul \u0219i face o c\u0103l\u0103torie dur\u0103 spre Haraldur, lu\u00e2nd cu sine poeme de Neruda \u0219i <em>Iubita locotenentului francez <\/em>de Fowles. Cum e mai bine? S\u0103-\u021bi \u201esufoci inima, sacrific\u00e2ndu-te, ba chiar tr\u0103d\u00e2ndu-te pe tine \u00eensu\u021bi, sau s\u0103 tr\u0103ie\u0219ti \u00eentreg, urm\u00e2nd busola inimii?\u201d Poate c\u0103 nu se poate s\u0103 tr\u0103ie\u0219ti \u201ef\u0103r\u0103 ca m\u0103car o dat\u0103 \u00een via\u021b\u0103 s\u0103 arunci totul la gunoi\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0218i din nou apare naratorul omniscient, pl\u00e2ng\u00e2ndu-se de amnezie, aranj\u00e2nd foile scrise, adun\u00e2nd pove\u0219ti, sesiz\u00e2nd marele paradox: \u201ede\u0219i nu facem dec\u00e2t s\u0103 acumul\u0103m cuno\u0219tin\u021be, cu c\u00e2t \u0219tim mai mult, cu at\u00e2t \u00een\u021belegem mai pu\u021bin\u201d. Ce face acum p\u0103rintele P\u00e9tur? Se opre\u0219te istovit la poala dealului. Calul trebuie s\u0103 se odihneasc\u0103. Deodat\u0103 e cople\u0219it de magia naturii (\u201efrumuse\u021bea va salva lumea\u201d \u2013 Dostoievski). \u00cencepe s\u0103 pl\u00e2ng\u0103, iar calul nu suport\u0103 lacrimile \u0219i \u201e\u00eei rumeg\u0103 u\u0219or um\u0103rul cu \u00eengrijorare\u201d. P\u0103rintele mul\u021bume\u0219te p\u0103s\u0103rilor pentru \u201efidelitatea lor frumoas\u0103 pe care n-o merit\u0103m\u201d, pentru c\u0103 ele vin an dup\u0103 an cu optimism \u0219i \u201ecu credin\u021ba de nestr\u0103mutat c\u0103 via\u021ba \u00eenvinge mereu\u201d. Frazele c\u0103r\u021bii sunt \u201eca un tren lung, care \u00eenainteaz\u0103 \u00eencet, cu vagoanele legate compact, trase de o for\u021b\u0103 imens\u0103, invincibil\u0103\u201d. Din c\u00e2nd \u00een c\u00e2nd, iubirea, cu tonuri de imposibilitate. S\u1f40ley e c\u0103s\u0103torit\u0103. C\u00e2nd z\u00e2mbe\u0219te, \u201elumea se reseteaz\u0103\u201d. O merit\u0103 so\u021bul ei? Unde \u201ezac \u00eengropa\u021bi dragonii pe care i-a \u00eenvins ca s-o cucereasc\u0103? \u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Scriitorul-narator trece din poveste \u00een poveste. Totul \u00eencepe cu cuvinte, dar \u201eacestea pot fi complet inutile, dac\u0103 nu sunt urmate de o \u00eembr\u0103\u021bi\u0219are\u201d. Cuno\u0219tin\u021bele s-au extins, dar omenirea nu e mai fericit\u0103. De la personaje, frazele vin spre narator, care le disec\u0103, le repet\u0103, le cerne, p\u00e2n\u0103 iau forma unui poem, adesea repetitiv. Nu ne putem pierde \u00een h\u0103\u021bi\u0219ul temporal, deoarece autorul creeaz\u0103 un fel de rezumate poetice. Umanitatea sufer\u0103 c\u00e2nd un destin e uitat, \u201ec\u00e2nd o poveste care merit\u0103 consemnat\u0103, scris\u0103 \u00eentr-o carte, dispare f\u0103r\u0103 urm\u0103 \u00een uitare\u201d. Nimeni nu poate explica plenar cum au reu\u0219it islandezii \u201es\u0103 supravie\u021buiasc\u0103 at\u00e2tea secole pe p\u0103m\u00e2ntul lor arid \u0219i aspru \u2013 probabil c\u0103 trebuie s\u0103 numim asta a opta minune a lumii\u201d. Aici fiecare om \u201e\u00ee\u0219i poart\u0103 propriul bagaj, r\u0103nile sale, nodurile sale\u201d. Uneori e at\u00e2t de greu \u201es\u0103 tr\u0103ie\u0219ti, \u00eenc\u00e2t se vede de pe lun\u0103\u201d. Unii mor, dar via\u021ba continu\u0103 netulburat\u0103, \u201enu se opre\u0219te nici m\u0103car o frac\u021biune de secund\u0103, nu conteaz\u0103 cine moare\u201d. Un paradox guverneaz\u0103 totul: \u201evia\u021ba fuge \u00een permanen\u021b\u0103 de moarte, dar totodat\u0103 mereu \u00eenspre ea\u201d. Dragostea e primordial\u0103 \u2013 \u201esingur \u0219i f\u0103r\u0103 tine e moartea\u201d sau \u201eabsen\u021ba ta e \u00eentuneric\u201d. Iubirea \u201epune st\u0103p\u00e2nire pe tine ca un drog\u2026 mai ales dragostea care nu are voie s\u0103 fie v\u0103zut\u0103 \u0219i care apoi se transform\u0103 \u00een materia \u00eentunecat\u0103 care conduce lumea.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Metaliteratur\u0103 rafinat\u0103, con\u0219tient \u0219i subcon\u0219tient, \u021bes\u0103tur\u0103 narativ\u0103 insolit\u0103. Cum s\u0103 m\u0103 exprim evit\u00e2nd cli\u0219eele? \u201eCeea ce nu \u00een\u021belegem l\u0103rge\u0219te lumea\u201d \u2013 spune un personaj.
