Copiii nu-s ni\u0219te bure\u021bi care absorb fiecare cuv\u00e2nt trist ca pe o lovitur\u0103 mortal\u0103. Literatura le ofer\u0103 context, empatie \u0219i oportunitatea s\u0103 g\u00e2ndeasc\u0103 critic. S\u0103 se opun\u0103. Dac\u0103 vrei s\u0103 cre\u0219ti oameni preg\u0103ti\u021bi pentru via\u021b\u0103, trebuie s\u0103-i la\u0219i s\u0103 vad\u0103 c\u0103 lumea nu e perfect\u0103, c\u0103 exist\u0103 peste tot nedrept\u0103\u021bi \u0219i dificult\u0103\u021bi, \u0219i c\u0103 totu\u0219i po\u021bi g\u0103si solu\u021bii. Pur \u0219i simplu nu pot achiesa (scuze, de mult \u00eemi doream s\u0103 folosesc acest cuv\u00e2nt \u00eentr-un text) la aceast\u0103 idee. Cultura \u0219i istoria sunt complexe. Ar fi absurd s\u0103 le prezent\u0103m copiilor o realitate sterilizat\u0103, f\u0103r\u0103 conflicte, drame sau obstacole. Serios! Literatura exist\u0103 tocmai pentru a-i \u00eenv\u0103\u021ba pe cititori cum s\u0103 navigheze printre emo\u021bii, cum s\u0103 fac\u0103 alegeri \u00een\u021belepte \u0219i cum s\u0103 ajung\u0103 la empatie. Altfel am scrie textele direct cu inteligen\u021ba artificial\u0103, ca s\u0103 elimin\u0103m orice fel de probleme \u0219i dubii. Copiii \u00een\u021beleg, critic\u0103 \u0219i \u00eenva\u021b\u0103 din aceste texte. Nu-i vorba de fatalism. Dac\u0103 ar fi at\u00e2t de u\u0219or s\u0103 omori speran\u021ba prin c\u0103r\u021bi, am fi pierdut genera\u021bii \u00eentregi de elevi \u0219i oameni. \u0218i s\u0103 fim serio\u0219i: nimeni nu se a\u0219teapt\u0103 ca un copil de clasa a V-a s\u0103 tr\u0103iasc\u0103 drama ca un adult. Dar literatura \u00eei \u00eenva\u021b\u0103 c\u0103 problemele exist\u0103, c\u0103 unii oameni fac r\u0103u \u0219i c\u0103 via\u021ba nu vine cu instruc\u021biuni de folosire. \u0218i exact asta e frumuse\u021bea: copiii pot discuta, analiza \u0219i g\u0103si solu\u021bii. A-i proteja excesiv, a filtra orice text, e mult mai d\u0103un\u0103tor. Le subestim\u0103m capacitatea de a procesa \u0219i de a se adapta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mai mult, panica asta generalizat\u0103 ignor\u0103 rolul real al profesorilor \u0219i al familiei. Elevii nu sunt expu\u0219i la textele din manuale ca la un experiment chimic. Profesorii discut\u0103, explic\u0103, fac leg\u0103turi cu realitatea \u0219i \u00eei ajut\u0103 pe copii s\u0103 extrag\u0103 lec\u021bii constructive. Sigur, nu <em>to\u021bi<\/em> profesorii fac asta \u0219i nu <em>to\u021bi<\/em> p\u0103rin\u021bii stau s\u0103 le explice celor mici cum st\u0103 treaba. \u00cens\u0103 un text nu e fatalist la modul absolut dac\u0103 e pus \u00een context, iar copilului i se ofer\u0103 instrumente s\u0103-l \u00een\u021beleag\u0103.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A\u0219a c\u0103 nu literatura sau manualele omoar\u0103 speran\u021ba. Realitatea \u00eens\u0103\u0219i o face. De asemenea, s\u0103r\u0103cia \u0219i lipsa de sprijin emo\u021bional din partea adul\u021bilor. E suficient s\u0103 privim pentru c\u00e2teva secunde \u00een jur sau la \u0219tiri ca s\u0103 ne l\u0103murim. Iar textele literare nu sunt bombe emo\u021bionale, ci resurse de empatie, reflec\u021bie \u0219i g\u00e2ndire critic\u0103, desigur, dac\u0103 are cine le prezenta \u0219i folosi astfel. A le reduce la traum\u0103 \u0219i fatalism e nu doar inutil \u0219i simplist, ci \u0219i o subestimare a inteligen\u021bei copiilor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">***<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0218oarecele \u0219i crocodilul sunt prieteni vechi. Genul \u0103la de prieteni care \u00ee\u0219i spun glume proaste, se ajut\u0103 la nevoie \u0219i uneori \u00ee\u0219i mai pierd maracas-urile.
