Numai c\u0103, atunci c\u00e2nd tat\u0103l decide s\u0103 aduc\u0103 \u00een cas\u0103 o t\u00e2n\u0103r\u0103 pentru a-i satisface fiului celui mare fantasmele erotice, realitatea me\u0219terit\u0103 at\u00e2t de sever \u00eencepe s\u0103 se pr\u0103bu\u0219easc\u0103, iar consecin\u021bele sunt monstruoase. P\u0103str\u00e2nd nefirescul familiar din distopiile de tip Haneke \u0219i Gaspar No\u00e9, filmul din 2009 al lui Lanthimos scoate la iveal\u0103 o mu\u0219c\u0103toare satir\u0103 social\u0103, de o violen\u021b\u0103 bine dozat\u0103, \u00een tot cazul, acaparant\u0103, de\u0219i derutant\u0103.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un alt resort al filmelor lui Lanthimos ilustreaz\u0103 echilibrul \u00eentre starea de stranietate, la limita cu horror-ul \u0219i comedia neagr\u0103 \u0219i o oarecare alunecare \u00een gol. Un film curios este drama psihologic\u0103 <em>Alpii\/The Alps<\/em> (2011), care aduce \u00een prim plan o organiza\u021bie atipic\u0103, gata s\u0103 preia rolul celor deceda\u021bi \u00een familiile \u00eendurerate, pentru a facilita greutatea doliului. Este un film atipic prin tematic\u0103 \u0219i prin austeritatea personajelor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00cen <em>The Killing of a Sacred Deer<\/em> (2017), apare figura adolescentului sadic c\u0103ut\u00e2nd r\u0103zbunare, interpretat remarcabil de Barry Keoghan (cunoscut \u0219i pentru rolul din <em>Dunkirk<\/em> (2017) al&nbsp;lui Christopher Nolan \u0219i apoi pentru rolul din tragicomedia <em>The Banshees of Inisherin <\/em>din 2022, regizat\u0103 de Martin McDonagh). Filmul fascineaz\u0103 prin intensitatea r\u0103ului, jongl\u00e2nd cu false probleme morale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dac\u0103 \u00een <em>Poor Things<\/em> (2023), Lanthimos recreeaz\u0103 un basm feminist, interog\u00e2nd aspecte care \u021bin de actul medical, dezinhibare sexual\u0103, libertatea de a dispune de propriul trup, <em>Kinds of Kindness<\/em> (2024) este o antologie <em>horror<\/em>, \u00een care paradoxurile amplific\u0103 absurdul reac\u021biilor umane; de o violen\u021b\u0103 moderat\u0103 la nivel vizual, gener\u00e2nd, \u00een schimb, o tensiune ap\u0103s\u0103toare, cele trei pove\u0219ti (f\u0103r\u0103 vreo leg\u0103tur\u0103 \u00eentre ele, alta dec\u00e2t prezen\u021ba unor chipuri familiare, simboluri ale dezabuz\u0103rii, angoasei, nefericirii) \u00eei aduc \u00eempreun\u0103 pe Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe. Emma Stone, de o frumuse\u021be hipnotic\u0103, provocatoare, versatil\u0103, apare \u00een ultimele filme ale lui Lanthimos, de la <em>The Favourite<\/em> (2018) (al\u0103turi de Rachel Weisz \u0219i Olivia Colman, prezen\u021be magnetice am\u00e2ndou\u0103 \u00een <em>The Lobster<\/em>, 2015), la <em>Poor Things<\/em> (2023), <em>Kinds of Kindness<\/em> (2024) \u0219i <em>Bugonia<\/em> (2025), cel mai recent film al regizorului grec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Compozi\u021bional, <em>Poor Things<\/em> este un film care alterneaz\u0103 secven\u021bele alb-negru cu opulen\u021ba cromatic\u0103 a costumelor marca Holly Waddington, ce reflect\u0103 evolu\u021bia fireasc\u0103 a eroinei \u2013 maturizarea (\u0219i vestimentar\u0103!) \u2013 de la \u021binutele pufoase din primele scene la corsetele senzuale din ultima parte a filmului. Elementele <em>steampunk<\/em> alterneaz\u0103 cu cele <em>science-fiction<\/em>, dar \u0219i cu zone de comedie gotic\u0103, perfect redate de interpretarea lui Mark Ruffalo, Ramy Youssef, Cristopher Abott \u0219i Jerrod Carmichael. Bazat pe romanul lui Alasdair Gray, <em>Poor Things<\/em> (1992) recreeaz\u0103 decorurile unei drame de sf\u00e2r\u0219it de secol XIX. Studentul \u00een \u0219tiin\u021be medicale Max McCandles este recrutat de doctorul Godwin Baxter s\u0103 urm\u0103reasc\u0103 schimb\u0103rile comportamentale ale unei tinere care locuie\u0219te \u00een casa doctorului, despre care afl\u0103 rapid c\u0103 este rodul unei experiment chirurgical, un Frankenstein feminin, fiindc\u0103 Bella Baxter este o t\u00e2n\u0103r\u0103 din Londra victorian\u0103 care a fost adus\u0103 la via\u021b\u0103 gra\u021bie unui transplant de creier (de la f\u0103tul nen\u0103scut \u00een trupul mamei sinuciga\u0219e).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Poor Things<\/em> a primit Leul de Aur la Festivalul de Film de la Vene\u021bia din 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Genetic, pelicula lui Lanthimos se apropie de ecranizarea lui Francis Ford Coppola din 1992 a romanului <em>Dracula<\/em> de Bram Stoker, p\u0103str\u00e2nd ecouri din <em>Black Narcissus<\/em> (1947), \u00een regia lui Michael Powell \u0219i Emeric Pressburger, dar \u0219i din capodopera fellinian\u0103 <em>E la nave va <\/em>(1983) ori din anumite filme ale lui Roy Andersson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bella Baxter, eroina din <em>Poor Things<\/em>, este un experiment controversat (seduc\u0103tor prin posibilitatea de a resuscita trupul t\u00e2n\u0103r al mamei sinuciga\u0219e \u00een care este implantat creierul copilului pe care \u00eel purta \u00een p\u00e2ntece), combina\u021bie perfect\u0103 de libertate, emancipare, curiozitate. Eroina are, la propriu, o lume la picioarele sale, gata s\u0103 o studieze ca pe un fenomen curios, cu care s\u0103 peroreze despre infinit \u0219i alegeri, de care s\u0103 se desprind\u0103 \u0219i pe care s\u0103 o adulmece. Este expresia bun\u0103t\u0103\u021bii naive, a c\u0103ut\u0103rii lipsite de meschin\u0103rie, a sexualit\u0103\u021bii pe care \u0219i-o descoper\u0103 treptat, a siguran\u021bei de sine \u0219i a iubirii de via\u021b\u0103. Caut\u0103, \u00een fiecare dintre \u00eencerc\u0103rile sale umane, un r\u0103spuns onest la \u00eentreb\u0103rile pe care le poart\u0103 cu sine.
