Edi\u021bia a fost \u00eengrijit\u0103 de Crist\u1f40bal Pera, care consider\u0103 c\u0103 munca la respectiva edi\u021bie a fost \u201eaceea a unui restaurator \u00een fa\u021ba p\u00e2nzei unui mare maestru\u201d. Exist\u0103 \u0219i un prolog conceput de fiii scriitorului, care relateaz\u0103 condi\u021biile vitrege \u00een care a fost scris romanul: pierderea memoriei lui M\u00e1rquez, care a afirmat c\u0103 ar trebui distrus\u0103 cartea. Numai c\u0103 fiii n-au distrus-o, iar dup\u0103 zece ani au considerat c\u0103 textul are merite \u00eenc\u00e2nt\u0103toare \u0219i \u201eprintr-un act de tr\u0103dare am hot\u0103r\u00e2t s\u0103 punem mai presus pl\u0103cerea cititorilor s\u0103i\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>S\u0103 vedem epicul&#8230; O femeie matur\u0103 c\u0103s\u0103torit\u0103 \u2013 Ana Magdalena Bach \u2013 vine pe insula unde e \u00eenmorm\u00e2ntat\u0103 mama sa. E c\u0103s\u0103torit\u0103 cu Dom\u00e9nico Amaris, b\u0103rbat cu educa\u021bie aleas\u0103, distins, director al Conservatorului Provincial. Fusese campion \u00a0universitar la toate: canto, oratorie, nata\u021bie, tenis de mas\u0103. O c\u0103s\u0103torie fericit\u0103, reu\u0219it\u0103. La fiecare revenire acas\u0103 \u00ee\u0219i pune \u00eentreb\u0103ri despre conduita so\u021bului. Oare \u0219i el&#8230;?&nbsp; La 46 de ani, este ea o femeie liber\u0103 sau se afl\u0103 la \u00eenceputul unei vie\u021bi adulterine? Reg\u0103sim \u00een carte temele dragi lui Marquez: efemeritatea iubirii, echilibrul \u00eentre sentiment \u0219i pl\u0103cere. Puterea narativ\u0103 a c\u0103r\u021bii convinge, iar traducerea e limpede, curg\u0103toare, magic\u0103. Finalul e absolut surprinz\u0103tor.
